31　Then said Pilate unto them, Take ye him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death：​

Then said Pilate unto them,
그러자 빌라도가 그들에게 말했어요

Take ye him,
"그를 데려가라,

and judge him
그리고 그를 재판하라

according to your law.
너희들의 법에 따라서 말이다."

The Jews therefore said unto him,
그러므로 유대인들이 그에게 말했어요

It is now lawfull for us
"우리에게는 허용가능한 법이 없습니다

to put any man to death.
어느 사람을 사형시킬 만한 법 말입니다"

<개역한글> 빌라도가 가로되 너희가 저를 데려다가 너희 법대로 재판하라 유대인들이 가로되 우리에게는 사람을 죽이는 권이 없나이다 하니
