21　A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come： but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

​예수님 자신께서 사람들을 위해 겪으실 고난을 해산의 고통에 비유하시네요. 그래서 이렇게 말씀하실 이유가 있는 것이지요.​

"내가 너를 낳았도다"​

A woman when she is in travail
진통을 겪고 있는 그 여자는​

hath sorrow,
근심이 있다​

because her hour is come :
그녀의 시간이 다가오기 때문이다​

but as soon as she is delivered
그러나 그녀가 받자마자 (낳자마자)

of the child,
그 아이를​

she remembereth no more
그녀는 더 이상 기억하지 않는다

the anguish,
그 괴로움을,

for joy
그 기쁨 때문이며​

that a man is born
그것은 한 생명이 태어난 것을 말한다

into the world.
세상에 말이다
