1　These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee：

예수님께서 십자가를 지시기전 하나님께 영광을 받으시고 또한 자신을 영광스럽게 하시길 기도하시고 계세요.

이 말씀들을​

spake Jesus,
예수님께서 말씀하셨어요​

and life up his eyes
그리고 그의 눈을 올리셨지요 ( 올려다 보셨지요 )​

to heaven,
하늘을 향해​

and said,
그리고 말씀하셨어요​

아버지​

the hour is come,
그 때가 옵니다​

gloriify thy Son,
당신(아버지)의 아들을 영광스럽게 하소서​

that thy Son
그것은 당신의 아들이​

also may glorify thee.
당신을 또한 영광스럽게 함입니다.
